A scanner beep at the counter is the fastest way to bill an item - but only if every product has a barcode and the stock behind it is correct. When you run more than one outlet, stock also moves between them, and untracked movement is where numbers start to drift. Barcode labels and recorded stock transfers solve both problems.
Print barcodes for every item
In Znex POS each item has an item code and barcode in the item master. You can print barcode labels for a single item or for many items at once, so new stock is ready to sell as soon as it is labelled.
Scanning replaces typing item names, which makes billing faster and removes wrong-item mistakes.
Why transfers must be recorded
When goods move from the warehouse to a shop, or from one shop to another, stock should drop in one place and rise in the other. If the move is not recorded, the sending outlet shows stock it no longer has and the receiving outlet cannot sell what it holds.
Stock transfer, step by step
A stock transfer entry records the transfer number and date, the section it comes from and the section it goes to, and each item with its quantity and price. The system shows the stock at both ends and tracks the status of the transfer, and a stock transfer report lets you review everything that moved.
Fix mistakes with stock adjustment
Damaged, expired or miscounted goods are a fact of retail. A stock adjustment entry corrects the quantity with a record of the change, so the difference is explained instead of silently disappearing.
How Znex POS helps
- Barcode labels for single or multiple items
- Fast scan-based billing at the counter
- Transfers between sections and outlets with numbers and dates
- Stock shown at both the sending and receiving ends
- Stock transfer report and stock adjustment entries
Accurate stock starts with two habits: label everything and record every movement. Znex POS makes both part of the daily routine, so every outlet shows the stock it really has.
